Terms & Conditions
Our products are crafted by hand in our workshops in London. We do our utmost to ensure that the products are clearly and accurately described on our website and that they arrive with our customers safely and to our customers' satisfaction. All of our products are handmade, so there will be slight variations from product to product. Please allow for this. Each product description contains information about availability, lead times and delivery costs and we will strive to keep this information up to date.
Payment
We currently take payment by cheque made payable to Sarah Beech Ottomans or by BACS transfer, with bank details on the invoice. Credit cards will be accepted in the coming weeks.
Pricing
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling. Prices displayed throughout this website are accurate at the time of publication and may change at any time.
Purchase
When you place an order with us, you will be sent an acknowledgement of your order by e-mail. We will contact you if there are any issues in respect of your order and we reserve the right to cancel orders up until the point of delivery. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
Delivery
Products will be sent out with a courier. Once your order has been placed, we will notify you with a date for delivery, making sure it arrives on a day to suit you. Please try to provide us with an address where there will be someone to sign for the products. All of our products are made to order, with a four to six-week lead time. Further details will be provided once an enquiry has been made.
Returns
The free returns service is available only to mainland United Kingdom (UK) addresses. The UK mainland consists of England, Scotland (excluding Highlands & Islands) and Wales. To qualify for a refund you must notify us in writing and return the product or products within fourteen (14) days from and after the date on which you received it or them. Your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification unless such goods are deemed by us to be faulty or damaged.
Faults
If we make a mistake, the most important thing to do is put it right. You have the right to return faulty or damaged products to us within thirty (30) days of your receivingthem. Where a faulty or damaged product has been delivered to you, we will do our utmost to rectify the error as quickly as possible to your satisfaction and if that cannot be done we offer a full refund including our delivery costs.
Risk and Ownership
Ownership of the relevant product or products will pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the product or products, including delivery charges. The product or products will be your sole responsibility from the time that you (or a third party other than the courierand indicated by you) take physical possession of the product or products.
Offers
Offers, promotions and free accessories are only valid on full price products.
Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
