I was so excited when Jenny and I started to talk about a collaboration. Jenny loved how all our ottomans are individually designed and handmade here in the UK. You can now buy Sarah Beech Ottomans using any of Flock’s gorgeous fabrics.
Back in June I met the lovely textile designer @mairihelena and we chatted about our mutual love of interiors and the possibility of working together. Well, that happened @100%Design today.
I am always amazed by Decorex; at how each year it just gets bigger and better. This year felt like all the stops had been well and truly pulled out. Of course they have - it’s Decorex’s 40th anniversary! Row upon glorious row of fabulous furniture, sumptuous fabrics, beautiful lights and wonderful accessories.
We are very excited as Sarah Beech Ottomans has delivered this beautiful ottoman to the Christopher Peacock showroom in Chelsea Harbour as part of Focus16. We love the combination of the fabulous Timorous Beasties fabric complimented by the soft grey wool lining. It has resulted in a great piece that looks wonderful in this incredible setting.
I can’t believe it, I'm pinching myself. I’ve just had a call from Gladwell & Patterson, exhibitors at Chelsea Flower Show. They would like to use two Arthurs for their stand. The two they have chosen are wonderfully upholstered in British made wool, inside and out. They beautifully compliment the colour scheme of grey hues chosen for their stand. I hope you like the photos...
So, today was a big day, well for Sarah Beech Ottomans. I had high expectations of the lovely photographer Ian Skelton as I had heard great things. All the prep had been done. Ottomans made, location checked, props prepared and most importantly, snacks at the ready. None of this would have been possible without the use of my friend Julia’s amazing house. Julia @urbancossack, a very big THANK YOU. As the day unfolded it was amazing how time flew away from us. Every decision was critical. Ian was fantastic and worked tirelessly to get the right shot of each ottoman, especially as in certain rooms we were racing against the changing light. I think Ian has done an amazing job, really bringing the ottomans to life. I am thrilled with how the photos appear on our website. I'd love to know what you think?
